Had it not been for the peripheral ongoing story of Roy Grace's missing wife and the stunning evil twist right at the end I would only have given this three stars.
I found the story lacking the usual grip these books have over me and was quite happy to put it aside for a few days. What kept me going was as I said the ongoing saga of Grace and his wife and I will keep reading further books in the series to find out what happens.
