This book just did not happen for me. I got way too confused with the story jumping about between East and West Germany and London. The characters did not seem real and I could not bond with any of them.
I listened to an audio version from my library and the narrator seemed determined to channel Michael Caine throughout which was very off putting as he kept slipping into bizarre other accents.
